Really nice Markbass Classic 300. Beautiful EQ and warm sounding with some HI-FI sparkle.
Great condition. Tolex is almost perfect with the exception of an indent near the top handle (see pic). Couple of marks on some of the corners. Overall the amplifier is in great condition.
I can really say that this amplifier is a very well thought out design. The box seem to be made out of a light plywood (perhaps poplar). Also, the power and output transformer are actually mounted on the inside of the plywood enclosure and not on the aluminum chassis.
This model has a micro controller which does a bias adjustment on each start up among other things. Great tech.
The transformers and caps are Italian made as can be seen on the labels. High quality stuff here.
Very light for a 300 watt amp with six KT88's. Under 50lbs.
This amplifier has no issues and is all original except for two power tubes which were changed out (to Electro Harmonix). One of the originals went bad.
IMPORTANT: This amplifier is from Europe and is meant to run off of 240v 50/60hz. This is not a problem if you have a 240v outlet or you can use one of these.
I love tube amps, but I'm trying to thin the heard.
