Afterburner Z Series 5 Trans Black Swamp Ash Body, 24 Frets, Maple Neck with Novax Fanned Frets, Maple Fb, Master Volume, Rotary Pickup Selector, Master Tone, Dingwall Logo Gigbag.SN# 4979 7.5 LBS. Also includes new set of Dingwall Nickels.

The volume pot was upgraded to a push/pull pot to provide series/parallel switching for the neck pickup. The rotary pickup selector provides solo bridge, neck and bridge parallel, neck and bridge series, and solo neck.

Two minor dings on this bass. Were there when I received the bass. Looks worse than it is.

Never played one of these, but if it's anything like the Supers in terms of build quality, it's a monster. Light, resonant, and present. Someone give fanned frets a try! The banjo frets on maple are a winning combo!

....and MAN, is this ever priced right!!!! I have an ABZ 4 banger on order, and it's mid $3000's! (cdn) Anyone even considering a beast like this would be ESTATIC once they play it! I have carpal tunnel (and tendonitis), and my current Dingwall is basically the only one I can play for any length of time without a flare up! Awesome bass my friend!! :)

Haha! I would seriously not hesitate if I had the funds. I'm so eager to try one. I'm moving out of state soon and have to live like a monk until I successfully arrive at a new spot in Austin TX.
