I recently bought this bass to test out Bass Mods. I've been hearing a lot about them. I'm impressed. So much so that I'm going to inquire about getting a custom bass. I want a loud glittery color so that's why I'm selling this bass. I have enough natural wood finished basses. I want a wild color that will smack you in the face. I did a minor setup on this bass and it plays and feels good. There are minor dings and what not but my price will reflect that. It's not a light bass at all. My scale put it around 10.8-11.1lbs but the tone is awesome. If you have a decent strap, the weight shouldn't be a huge deal.
