I am selling my Yamaha 5 string bass guitar model BB425X. It is in totally brand new condition. NO scratches, dings, swirls, nicks....nothing. It is less than 1 year old. I have had an UPGRADE performed to the bass by a top level tech. The bass originally came with a toggle switch that would ONLY allow individual pickups or both to play selected. The bass now has a master volume for EACH pickup and a master tone control. (vol-vol-tone). This will allow you to BLEND the exact amount of each pickup you desire. Use the P pickup with a little bit of J pickup to add some edge and midrange. Use the J pickup with a bit of P to add some bottom and depth to the J (jaco-jazz bass) sound. I used this in a non-smoking studio for some audio projects and now it is sitting and not being used. This is an AWESOME sounding bass with low action, no fret buzz, no rattles, super clean output in a passive bass. The bass will come with an almost new , but not top level, gig bag. The beautiful tobacco sunburst is greatly contrasted with the black and chrome pickguard and control plate.
