The body is in great shape, but does have some very minor flaws as can be seen in these pictures. The first picture shows some extra holes that were used to mount a thumb rest. These holes are completely covered by the pickguard. Other minor flaws are as shown.

I could be mistaken. I had seen some ads like http://www.fullcompass.com/common/files/10957-Squier PBASS-CLASSVIBE-50S.pdf which may have mislead me. I assumed the same models with the different colors had the same body wood, but I might be wrong.

There we have it: Pine it is. They must have chosen it over basswood with the translucent finish for it's very attractive grain pattern as can be seen in the picture of the whole bass.

It's about 5 3/4 lbs including the strap buttons and jack mounting plate.

What are the measurements of the neck pocket? I'm wondering if an Allparts Tele bass neck would fit. Thanks!

The width of the pocket is 2 1/2 inches. It will take the Allparts tele bass neck.

This does include the original CV pickup to hold you over until you find the tele pickup.
