For sale is my modded ESP-LTD 5 string. I'm quitting the world of bass and selling all my gear.
This is an ESP-LTD B205-SM. The spalted maple top sucked (as in no spalting), so I refinished it to show the solid ash body underneath. I also reshaped the headstock into a more pleasing shape and added the Om symbol to the headstock (see pic).
This is a killer playing and sounding bass which was my best bass for gigging. It's been upgraded with Seymour Duncan NYC Phase II humbucking pickups. It has two switches added so you can switch between, Series/Parallel/Dual Coil/Single Coil. Has a stock ESP-LTD 9v preamp (bass-mid-hi) Volume and Blend knobs. Pickups alone cost $250 not installed. 34" scale. Weight - 8 lbs.
Plays beautifully, low action and has a variety of tonal options. Excellent shape. Comes with a Levy's high quality, thickly padded, canvas/leather gig bag (this ain't no cheap, thin gig bag...I paid $150 new for it years ago).
The price is $500 firm plus whatever actual shipping costs are.
