We have a L-1005 (that's right, a 5-string L-1000) for sale. These are incredibly rare as only 10 or so were made mainly through Rocket Music special orders. G&L pulled the plug a few months ago, and now we have a true collectors item. This is my SECOND one, as I have another.
Did I mention it's really a hell of a bass? Very thunderous, and totally passive. Parallel, single coil and single coil with bass boost are the switch settings, and the bass has volume, passive treble and passive bass roll off. The B string sounds massive too. I think it weighs 8.5 pounds.
