Hi Group! I'm selling my PRISTINE Elrick Gold Series Evolution 5-string bass. At the time of its creation, this instrument was jokingly called the "Elrick MTD", as it was Rob's attempt to hear what one of his basses would sound like if crafted like a traditional MTD. It features a tulipwood (poplar) body, flame maple top, burgundy accent stripe, wenge neck, and wenge fingerboard. The pickups are Bartolini XXP25Cs, run through an Aguilar OBP-3 9-volt preamp. The scale length is 35" and the weight is 8lbs, 7oz. The knobs have been replaced with custom THG wenge knobs with maple lines (the original Elrick knobs are included). The condition of this instrument can only be described as "immaculate". I purchased it new in August of 2009 and it rarely left my home. It was not my main gigging bass, as I was usually too concerned about having is damaged. there are no major dings, chips, or wear on this instrument! If you know Elrick basses, you know how wonderful these instruments are, and what a craftsman Rob is. I am asking $2100 for the bass, including the Elrick Zero Gravity case (also in pristine condition), all documentation (original bill of sale), and case candy (truss rod tool, bridge tool, straplocks, original knobs, spare jack "gasket").
