Fender celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Precision Bass in 2001 with this limited run special edition.
About 400 were made and each documented with a Certificate of Authenticity. This is my second one and it's the best all around P Bass I've ever owned. Nicely put together with better than average fretwork and nut. It is near mint with all accessories and OHSC. I am selling it to get a workhorse P I can mod and use without worry.
It is not a reissue. It is a blend of old and new to commemorate the changes over the years.
