I bought this thinking a nice instrument was going to help me on 5 strings, but I'm just not a 5 string player, I sadly have to admit. This is NOT a standard Diamond series bass, but is the top of the line Diamond, now discontinued. Check out the features below.
Bass is basically brand new, the matte black finish feels great. The EMG DC's sound aggressive, clean and deep - one of my favorite pickups. The EMG preamp is very tight, and responsive. The only issue is that the second front knob on the control plate is somehow "loose" and cannot feel the center detent when you turn it, but knob still works. I haven't bothered to open it up (which is how little I've played this), but I imagine it is an easy fix. Asking $450, well packed and shipped. PayPal accepted. Thanks for looking.
