After further research and help from fellow Talk Bass member Steve Freides, I have discovered that the R.A. Meinel is one of Shar Music's house brand. This bow was most likely made in China. The R.A. Meinel brand is of a higher quality than the Meinel brand, which is Shar's entry level bow.
