I am looking for a sale; need the cash, UNLESS YOU HAVE a Radial Tonebone OD; that will be my only trade needs at the moment.
Up for sale is a great pre-amp pedal. It's a clone of the famed Pearce BC1 rack preamp: it was made in Dunedin, FL October 2014. I am the third owner; I got it here on TB last January and really enjoyed using it. Having switched to a smaller board I've been using it (with a big smile) for practicing at home. The original owner put dots for settings.
(On the pictures, those weird markings on the face of the trim pots are triangles I drew with a Sharpie so you can see where you are through the holes at the bottom...photo added. I hope no one thinks that's scorch marks or something LOL) All pots and switches work flawlessly. No noise. OEM power supply included.
It has a beautiful clean sound and the drive channel goes from kinda wild to insane. It's currently an integral part of John Myung's signal chain. Internal trim pots control the drive eq. I am selling for less than half price new for 2 reasons.
1: It's the older version 2, there's a newer final version out, and
2: the internal switch that switches the 2nd drive channel from a clean boost to an overdrive is broken and stuck on overdrive ( I tried to capture it in the images below), which was fine with me since I got the pedal to have that Billy Sheehan snarl. This thing destroys the EBS Billy Sheehan signature pedal. Handy FX loop. I do wish there was a D.I. and speaker sim though. Handy limiter.
I am currently using a smaller board than ever before, and loving it...a Metro 20 that fits in my suitcase (also pictured below). I had planned to keep this for my big Blackbird board but I think I'm not going back to that. I just usually don't get the floor-space at most of my gigs and I get funny looks for fill-ins LOL.
