I bought this in 2014 , I an the original owner . This is a amazing lightweight great sounding custom order bass . Cliff builds beautiful quality basses , this one is in excellent condition and comes with the Protec gig bag it came with . He usually has about a 1 year wait on his builds . It makes me sad to let it go , it is a fantastic bass and I really like it allot . I will get another CB one day though .

Ironic that I just picked up a copy of Ivan Santiago 's Bass Praise CD yesterday . Played it last night, saw he played CB basses and went looking for more info on them.

I 'm usually more a traditionalist in my taste in basses but find this one very much to my liking. Fancy but not to the extreme.

Good luck with the sale but I intend to purchase a bass in this price range toward the end of April and if still avail it's on my short list .

Keep me posted , it is a fantastic bass . I am of the traditionalist school as well . I picked the options on this bass based on that , jazz bass pick ups ( although they are hum cancelling and very quiet ) , very lightweight swamp ash body , no pre amp and a jazz bass shape type neck profile . Thanks for looking .
