Fantastic bass. I've owned a few over the years. Just curious if you have the COA with the bass? One thing that caught my attention is that this is the first Pino I've ever seen with the Fender logo unaltered.

Me too D Bopp. I recognize the bass too. A guy here in LA had it on our local CL. I responded, specifically because of the un-relic'd logo. It has pick up and bridge covers as well, which I didn't know Pino basses come with (mine didn't).

Anyway, it looks like a sweet bass.

Yep, that too. Mine never came with covers, and I've bought two of them new.

If this bass is here after I see Pino with Mayer in April I may do something foolish. My wife loves how Pino sounds with Mayer. I may be able to convince her that $3,000 isn't too much to spend on a bass. Sell one of my Roscoes and try a P. We'll see...

I love this bass but it's worth more than all of my basses combined lol. I've had a roadworn j in this colour combo for about 5 years and not a day goes by where I don't cast an admiring glance at it. I'm a little surprised that your tortoise guard is the same swirly type pattern, that passes for tortoise these days, and is the same on my j. I know there is still primo celluloid being made now (in China) but you have to pony up to buy at least 1000 large sheets of the stuff but I would have thought Fender would have been up for that.

Strangely drawn to this bass. Maybe it's time to part with one of my Roscoes...

It will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine.
I hope so. I don't want/need to spend $3,300 on a Precision bass. There's a perfectly good Fender American Select (NOS) locally that would be just fine. Still a little expensive but I know how it sounds and plays.

Ha, I wish I had the means to grab this. I was just doing my best Wayne's world excalibur strat imitation.

Damn. That means it may still be available after I see Pino play in a few weeks.
