Details

I have for sale a ridiculously gorgeous USA Custom Guitars neck made from AAAA flame, roasted maple with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. It has clay dots, and Hipshot reverse tuners, one of which being a drop tune. The only reason I'm selling is because I'm a jazz bass guy and my left hand cramps up for 6 or 7 songs at the beginning of the night when I play with this neck. I guess I'm finally getting old......

Specs from the build are below:

USACG - Custom build
Neck Wood: 4A Flame “Roasted” Maple w/graphite rods
Fretboard: Figured Brazilian Rosewood
Fretboard Radius: 10”
Nut Width: 1 5/8”
Nut: bleached bone
Dots: clay (both face & side)
Fret Size: 6230 (vintage Fender) x20
Tuner Setup: Gotoh GBR640 (same as Hipshot HB3, early 60s Fender)
Truss Adjust: Vintage slotted at heel
Notes: Very lightweight, no decal applied, tiny knot at 11th fret… filled at USACG during build, and not noticeable unless looking for it.

Please note:
This neck has been professionally leveled, crowned and polished.
The neck is straight, and the truss rod works as designed.
It is in very fine shape… no fret wear, dings, etc.

Price includes PayPal & shipping to the lower 48 states (CONUS).
Not interested in any trades.

Speechless, though I think I'd be distracted by how pretty she is every time I picked her up. ... Free bump!

Nitro or poly finish?

I am honestly not sure as I am the second owner. I will ask the gentleman who I purchased this from to see if he knows.

I have a Fender Custom Shop Custom Classic Jazz with a poly neck and also an EBMM Ball Family Reserve Stingray with a roasted birdseye neck. Both of those basses have thick poly on them, and this neck does not feel like those. Those have a "stickier" feel to them. This has a more satin feel to it, but not quite as "satin" as the back of a standard Stingray neck with just oil and wax on it.

I hope that helps.

Or if there is another way to tell just let me know and I'll check.
