Details

Up for sale is my early 2000 Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 5H. I bought this bass about a year ago from a friend who is a regular touring musician. The bass plays great with no problems and it was just professionally set up with a set of Daddario Chromes. As you can see from the pics, there are a few spots where the paint has begun to peel and there is an indention in the pickguard. Also, there is a little staining on the maple fretboard from use. It can probably be cleaned off with some fine steel wool and a little elbow grease. This bass was never abused. It has just seen a lot of use so it is well broken in.

Stingray's from that era do have that problem with the finish. I had a Honey Burst (that I wish I never sold) which had the same problem only worse and I've seen many others like it since. It's common, it does no harm and this bass is the deal of the century.
