Up for sale only is a terrific 1991 Warwick Thumb Neck Through 4 string bass. Sorry, no trades - FS only.
True to form the early '90's era Warwick Thumbs seem to be the sweet spot for German-made, wenge-neck Thumbs. This one nails great Warwick sound of wood and is drop-dead gorgeous to boot.
I bought the bass from SquareWave late in 2016. Love it but I'm playing my fretless BO Thumb almost exclusively. Original thread is here: SOLD - 1991 Warwick Thumb NT4 - Wenge- highly desireable
As SquareWave noted, the condition of the instrument is very good. Just check out the photos...
Of course, there are small scuffs and marks here and there, but overall it's a beautiful bass in outstanding condition for being a 25-year old bass. There is very little fret wear, though there is string wear on both the neck pickup and in the wood just above the neck pickup
Bass comes with a Warwick soft bag, but I have a Contego soft case that the buyer will likely prefer if playing out and about - both are included in the sale. Oh, and with the bass, it'll come with elliptical strap pins (along with the originals if I can find them) and a 4" padded leather strap (dark brown).
Finally price includes ConUS shipping via FedEx or UPS (ground service), bass will be very well packed and payment is via PayPal only.
