I just bought this, and it's perfect in every way. I've owned 4 of these in the past, and this one is as good as any of them. But I bought it on impulse since they are getting harder to come by.

My 59 CS P is my main bass and will continue to be. This was going to be my 2nd choice. But I just can't justify keeping a bass of this value when I'm perfectly happy with my 59 CS P.
I did play it at my church gig yesterday, and it was incredible. The tone knob is very wide. Great punch without getting too muddy when rolled all the way off.
