Details

Bought this bass about 8 months ago. I've really enjoyed playing it over that time, but I'm too much of a fan of metallic or candy colored basses to keep this long term. Bass itself is in like new condition. The bass is punchy sounding and a joy to play. The neck pickup is one of the better sounding basses I've played with the pickup that close to the neck, normally something I dislike. Would love a local Chicago sale.

Bass Specs:
7.4 lbs!
34" scale
Mahogany neck through 22 fret neck
1 5/8" Nut width
Mahogany Body
Cocobolo Fretboard
Hipshot Hardware and string through bridge
Double bound body
TV Jones Thunderbuckers
Volume and tone with a three way switch, Neck, Parallel, Bridge

Does this bass neck dive @ all?

I notice the string saddles look like they're 1/2" from the tail end of the bass, where as many basses have 3 - 4" of body after the saddles.

Awesome looking bass!

No neck dive at all. Great design on the bass to keep things ergonomic.

Easy to find with a quick google search. Serek Basses

I played a Sacramento today that I just happened upon. I had watched all of his youtube vids several times and it was fate that one crossed my path. I had to buy it. These are very nice basses. It's got the playability of my US Lakland and thats a hard level to achieve.

Thanks for your comments. I actually answered his questions in a PM, but I suppose I should post it here as well:

Nut width? 1 5/8"

What kind of trussrod system? He doesn't state for sure, but I believe its a standard dual action trussrod with access underneath the nameplate on the headstock

What kind of finish? Builder identifies it as "Satin Clear", which i assume is some sort of thin poly as you can feel grain underneath the finish.
