This 3/4 laminated bass has literally "been through the wars" - serial #1945 means it was made in 1941 - and it continues to deliver lots of sound.

This one is set up for jazz, with 2 Tomastik Spiracore 'weich' strings and 2 'orchestra' gauge. There's plenty of growl in the low end, and clear notes above.
New bridge, as-new ebony fingerboard, new end pin (replacing the one in the photo)
Exceptionally playable - set up is 'like butter'
Sale includes a padded TKL bag - which needs a patch and a zipper.
Though it is a laminated bass, the tone is much more like that of a 'carved' bass.
From decades of playing, it sounds mellow, warm. Works well with a bow, too.
Signs of wear-and-tear:
-some of the edges where the back joins ribs are gnarly - delaminated
-neck was professionally re-set with a dowel
-finish has partially faded
