Selling my '96 Peavey Forum 4-string bass.
First things first...I bought this sight unseen and when I received it, something felt off. I took it to my luthier, and we discovered that the factory preamp had been removed by a previous owner.
So, we cleaned up the wiring, and the bass is now wired as passive with a volume/tone configuration. It was given a setup and it plays and sounds great. Specs below:
Single VFL Pickup
Upgraded Pots (according to my luthier)
Wired Passive - Volume/Tone
New D'Addario Strings
P-Bass width neck
Uncommon Sky blue color
Micro-tilt neck
Basically, it plays like a p-bass would. I'm not good enough to know what the difference is tone wise, but it plays just as well as anything else I own. I personally like my Fender PJ more, which is why I'm selling.
Happy to ship anywhere in the US for the cost of shipping. Shouldn't be too expensive. Asking $250
