Pics to come.
Purchased new three years ago, Hybrid (carved-top) Chadwick folding bass with flight case and ProTec bass cover. Currently strung with Animas (which work really well for this bass).
I purchased this bass for Indiana University, and it is university property. It has been played a handful of times and flown with twice. It is essentially in new condition (although the case obviously shows signs of the two flights). We really don't have a need for it anymore, so before the university tries to sell it through our Surplus Store I thought I'd see if anyone is interested.
A trade in kind will be easier to facilitate than a sale. We would be glad to have a good, inexpensive bass with a longer mensure than this (at least 42")--King or American Standard plywoods, for example. Or a high-quality electric upright; bass guitars; good amps/cabinets; and so forth. The value of the traded item(s) needs to be demonstrably equivalent to the value of this bass (c @$3K).
Thanks for looking, PM me with questions!
