Details

Up for sale is my Carvin PB5 P bass.

The cool color is a satin blue burst.

This one is a passive model.

I am not sure on the wood type, but looks to be swamp ash.
Beautiful birds eye maple fret board, thin front to back.
With "really low playable action".

34" scale with 19mm bridge.
1.77" wide @ nut, 2.98" wide @ 22nd fret.
.78" thick @ 1st fret, .88 thick @ 12th fret

Comes with two pickguards, the orig. black one, and a pearl white. The black one has a bit of players wear.
Got it here on TB from a great guy on a trade about two years ago. Selling because GAS happened "again" & I have another 5 string coming.
The dots on the neck are vinyl decals. They can be easily removed for a full birds eye fret board.

No trades at this time, unless maybe you have a lighter Sterling 5 string.
It is in really good condition, I would give it an 8.5 out of 10.
There are no dings, or dents, just some minor swirling.

Weighs is light, 8lbs. 11oz.

It didn't come with a HSC, but I can throw one in.
Will be well packed

$695.00 shipped UPS, conus only.

Thanks for looking!

I forgot & added to the post. The dots on the fret board are vinyl decals that can be easily removed.

Thanks Man!
I have seen them 9.5 to 11 lbs. I am thinking I posted this too early.
I should have the bass I am buying tomorrow & made sure I jive with it before selling this one.

So I'm now the owner of this bass and really like the strings that it was strung with. Can bordinco90 or BradH help me out?

You got a great bass! I offered to buy it back, but bordinco90 had sold it to a friend.
I don't know if he changed the stings, but I had DR bright steels on it.
If you ever end up selling if, PM me!

Thanks for chiming in! I'll look into the DR Bright Steels.

Did you like those strings on the bass new?

They are a little bright new. I would turn the tone down a little at first.

I bought it from Lafayette Music in Louisiana.

You wouldn't happen to have the key for the case would you?

I do not have the key, it didn't have one when I got it. The guy I sold it to was from the Louisiana area.
That bass has great tone!
