Details

This bass has the requisite jazz tone, can get a decent p sound a like, and a nice modern sound with the slap switch. Overall, I've been very pleased with this bass.
In great condition. I did replace the truss rod adjustment at the end and had to sand out the cavity a bit, which you should be able to see in the photos. It's not very noticeable, and the result is easier truss adjustment as needed.

The finish on this bass is spectacular. The pictures dont do it justice.

Other than the above, it is stock.

This bass plays like buttah. By far, the best bass I've ever played. It's a supercharged fender jazz v on steroids that will blow your socks off. Not too heavy, and doesn't have any neckdive. Comes from a smoke free home studio. Pull the trigger on this one, bruh.

I just got my lakland, so my beloved fender jazz 24 V is for sale. This bass has the requisite jazz tone, can get a decent p sound a like, and a nice modern sound with the slap switch. Overall, I've been very pleased with this bass .I only looked elsewhere because I wanted a bass with a 35" neck, which is the standard 34".

In great condition. I did replace the truss rod adjustment at the end and had to sand out the cavity a bit, which you should be able to see in the photos. It's not very noticeable, and the result is easier truss adjustment as needed.

The finish on this bass is spectacular. It's more figured than my new lakland, which I will likely miss.

Other than the above, it is stock.

I am interested in this bass. Does it come with a case or not. If it doesnt have a case I would give you $550 for it.

I used to own one of these and I can attest to it being a great bass. People are paying many times the asking price for virtually the same thing with boutique jazz basses.

This guy knows.

Legitimately I was looking around to see if I could get a 35" retrofit neck to add to the body before I got a lakland 5502. Sounds and plays great! Thanks for the love on this bass.

Finding a retro fit 24 fret neck is next to impossible. For my jazz 24 four string I ended up using a 24 fret MTD neck and modded the end where it would fit in the pocket.

What is the birthplace of this bass? Mexico, Japan USA ??? I know some people can tell from just a glance but I'm more of a Musicman nerd. Nice looking bass by the way.

Could you provide info on the approximate weight of the bass and the string-spacing at the bridge? Thanks!

How's the B string? I can only imagine that you would want a 35 scale neck to improve the B. I'm pretty close to you in LA and I'm very interested if my Ibanez sells

The B is good. Honestly, it probably would have been just as fine to switch to a tighter gauge, or hex core string (low riders). I'm heavy handed, so I sometimes a bit of wobble, but its really not bad, and I usually just up my amp gain so my fingers play lighter and that usually fixes any wobble. My other goal in getting the Lakland was to have a modern sounding bass to go along with my vintage sounding P bass. This way, I have all my sounds covered. The Jazz can do modern just fine, but I'm really liking the Lakland more. This jazz is undeniably jazz bass sounding. If you want to come check it out, you're more than welcome.
