This semi-hollow beauty is less than two months old and in pristine condition. There are no dings or sign of wear. It was professionally set up with low tension La Bella Flexible Flats, but these can be changed out to the original chromes. Rosewood finger-fretboard with Jatoba/Bubinga neck. Easy on the shoulders at less than 7 pounds, and fast slim neck. I would be holding on to this, but I just joined a jazz group on piano, and my future is going to be in the piano and keyboard areas.

Price includes the hard case shipped CONUS. If you want to pick up in San Diego area, it is yours for $479.00. PayPal if not local.

The photo of back of thee neck shows two horizontal lines that are wood grains. This bass is like new!

I tried a few strings on my SRH500F and the flexible flats are the clear winner. Have never been happier with a fretless. So comfortable and super easy to get a great sound. This is a screamin' deal someone is going to get.

seriously considering this. one question: i played this at the shop with the chromes and it sounded very good to me. just wondering why you preferred the labella flexies and what the sound and playability difference is (previous poster clearly agrees with you). looking forward to your reply.

Hi there, I would say the decision for the Flexible Flats was that I had them on a previous semi hollow body bass and liked the sound and playability. I wanted to make the bass super playable with a low action. Plus, I had put the FF's on an Ibanez SR fretted about a month ago and really liked them. Was getting 2 basses set up and just asked them to switch the strings. Not sure what I can say about sound quality, I think that is a preference. I can certainly put the chromes back on the SRH500F, but may not be the same from getting the bass set up.
