PLEASE - NO TRADE OFFERS.
It’s very rare to see a used Le Fay offered for sale and with good reason - they tend to be keepers. The sound and ergonomics of this bass are unparalleled.
Tonally flexible with ridiculous string to string balance and SUSTAIN! The neck is thin and flat - a D Flat shape if you will. Certainly not a baseball bat or C shaped neck. This is a jazz bass on steroids. As described by the previous owner with his permission (I couldn't do any better): In addition to a more traditional JB sound, it can also cop very convincing Music Man and Ken Smith tones due to the pickup placement and 3-way toggle switch. Roll off the bridge pickup, put the front pickup in series with a 20% cut in volume = P-Bass.
I’ve included a video of Robert “PeeWee” Hill putting a Pulse through its paces, primarily highlighting the JB sound:
Condition is still like factory new; I keep my gear really nice and this one is exceptional. The silver grey finish is stunning in itself but combined with the red color of the Padauk neck and fretboard - this is a show stopper!
