Well folks, I bought this bass brand new from a Japanese Fender dealer off of ebay back in 2012. It's a mint sunburst medium scale Fender Jazz bass, model JB62M.
I've only played it 10 times or so, and it's never been out of my house since I received it. It's been collecting dust - so it's time to let it go, hopefully to someone who will actually play it.
It's bone stock except the strings. I put flat wounds on it, and it sounds really, really, nice. I never even set up; it just played great out of the box. The pick guard has never been off, the cover plate has never been off, etc. No screw has even been turned on this bass.
I didn't order the case for it, so I ordered an SKB case that's for generic bass guitars that I will include in the sale. I certainly don't feel safe shipping it unless in it's in a case. It's not a 100% fit since the medium scale body is just a bit smaller than normal sized bodies, so I'll be sure to put some extra padding in the case before shipping it out. It's not bad, but there's just a little movement I'll lock down with foam.

It is medium scale, so it has 32 frets instead of 34. If you love medium scale basses, you'll love how this plays (like buttah!).
