Peavey USA Forum 4. Peavey made a couple of versions of this bass. This one has an active humbucker and the same 2 band electronics as the Axcelerator. It is a very beefy/ballsy sounding bass and plays great. It has a new set of DR Sunbeams on it.

The bass is in good condition and has no functional issues. There are hairline cracks on the body on the sides of the neck pocket. They are too small to photograph. The electronics work perfectly as does everything else on the bass. The bass has a large ding on the rear of the upper horn as shown by the photo and some other minor handling marks. Comes with a very nice new Road Runner gig bag. The bass weighs 10 pounds, .5 ounce.

Price includes shipping in the lower 48 states. Paypal is okay. No trades please. I am in San Antonio and will make you a deal if you want to pick the bass up.

Great bass!!! I had the white one sounded Great on stage. Well underrated. GLWTS

I also own a G Bass which is similar in that it has one PU like this Forum. Both basses sound great and play wonderfully. The tone is in the same ballpark as a P bass but has more bottom or more cut depending on how the EQ is set.

Apparently this model is rare. This is the only one I remember seeing in person. Don't know why it was not more popular, however, the same can be said of many US made Peavey basses.

How old is the bass?

I really don't know. I bought it used. The details on the neck look to me to be consistent with what Peavey was building in the late 1990's.

This is the only Forum of this rare configuration that I have had in my hands. Most of the Forum basses were Precision style basses. It is curious since this is a very good sounding bass with wonderful electronics. There are many "Peavey mysteries"
