Well, here it is. Have been pondering this for a couple of months now but putting my MTD 535 up for sale.

Swamp Ash body
Maple Burl top
Wenge neck and freatboard
35” scale with 21 frets
Custom Bartolini pickups and 18v pre
19mm @ the bridge

A couple of tiney dings that I did my best to capture in the photos but perfect otherwise!

Will absolutely NOT ship internationally!

Trade would need to be a fairly current Fodera 5 (love the standard classics!) , Roscoe 6, Ken Smith 5/6 or a Marleaux 6 at this point but let me know what you got!

I'm interested in your bass but I've found that it is very difficult if not impossible to get an accurate reading on an item in the 10 lb range on a bathroom scale. Would you happen to have a luggage scale or something similar that would provide a more accurate reading?

Thanks for the response! Your post made me realize I fat fingered the weight, which should have been 9.7 lbs. Sorry about that everyone!

I did as you suggested and also used my luggage scale. Still pretty close at 9 lbs 11 oz. Second (double check) weighed 9 lbs 10 oz but let's go with the heavier weight to be safe :-)

Sweet, classic wood combinations! If you know MTD's, you know this bass sounds great.
I love the Wenge/Wenge neck combination and Swamp Ash is my favorite body wood.
I've got two 435-21's with the same build specs but different top woods.
I'm actually glad this is a 535 because...Well, you already know how this would end up!
