Up for sale is an Aguilar OBP-1, recently extracted from a Spector bass. The OBP-1 will give you expanded tonal range, adding real lows to your bottom and snap to your high end. Even with the tone controls set flat, your pickups will be buffered and keep their clarity even with a long cable run. Also, this preamp has a "big" sound. Does not compress the signal like other preamps!
The preamp will come pre-wired for active pickups (such as EMG or MEC Golds) and will include a 9v battery clip. This preamp can easily be modified for use with passive pickups as well by just swapping the 2 volume pots out for a different value (that being whatever volume or vol/blend pots are currently in your bass).
