This is a marvelous instrument that I just haven’t bonded with. My perfect scenario would be a trade for an EBMM Sterling 5 HS. It’s one of several so I’m not anxious to move it.
Excellent condition for a ‘96 gigged instrument, it shows wear primarily as haze on the pick guard above the pickups. The shoreline gold looks rich and complements the Pau Ferro fretboard beautifully.
From it’s appearance it has spent much of the last 26 years in a case.
The tort pickguard was added by Fender according to original owner who sold it to me and the push/pull tone pot was professionally replaced as it was failing when I received the bass. I replaced the original knobs with newer Fender graduated or numbered knobs as the originals were illegible and will include the originals.
As mentioned my trade interest is a Sterling 5 HS, but will consider other basses so don’t be shy, just be aware I’m a little picky.
Through negotiation, I could include a basic hard case , but this bass came to me in a bag so that’s included.
