Just used this bass at a blues jam last night. Everything still works great! It can have a very distinctive tone...reminded me of the late 80s type of sound, along with all the classic Fender tones. The neck plays very fast, and string to string volume is very balanced. Great Bass!
I have the identical bass but mine is too heavy for me to use anymore. The necks are fantastic, as is the reverse P/J. If mine was lighter I’d play it. These are well made excellent basses and are definitely underrated. GLWTS.
Mine is around (guesstimate) 10lbs, it’s currently in my temp controlled storage unit.

It is one of the lighter basses I have, feels like around 8 lbs to me (but I do not have a way to weigh it at the moment). It is lighter than my 64 jazz.

I'm the original owner. This was my main bass from 87-95. Great sound, and playability. This has the additional active circuit...though I rarely used it. Battery compartment is clean with no corrosion.
Nice lightweight body. Some wear on the end of the peghead, and the neck attachment plate.
