Hate to sell this but time to move on to another project. It plays great some swirling on the pickguard but the body is in excellent to mint condition so is the neck its straight and frets have almost no use. I never gigged with the bass and the former owner only used it at his home studio.

Not really looking a trade but am always open to hear what you have has to be same quality instruments with a 1.5 neck width. Currently hooked on Sadowsky Moderns and MTD 434 and 435 Basses that might def interest me.

Beautiful bass! I’m a huge fan of Suhr Jazz basses and think that they make some of the best sounding J basses on the planet.
I have a late 90’s MIM active Fender Suhr Jazz bass and I constantly get comments from other bassists on how they love the tone.

I agree, somewhat. I think that the Fender/Suhr Jazz basses that were made are also some of the best 4 and 5 strings around. John Suhr was only at Fender from ‘95 - ‘97, but I believe that Fender continued to make a select few Jazz basses with Suhr electronics until 2000 (or ‘01, I’m not sure). I have a ‘99 MIM Fender/Suhr Jazz Bass that sounds incredible. I’ll never part with that bass.

No worries, have gone in a different direction. Still want a Suhr bass, just not in the market currently. Have 2 Suhr guitars, they are stellar in tone and playability. Bought some Suhr Humhpries to put in my Lull MV4 when I didn't hear back from you, all good for now.
