Killer jazz bass for sale. Originally planned to sell as parts but this really came together as a great jazz bass.
Originally started life as a fretless. Sold it and it made it's way back to me. Just for fun I swapped necks with a Newer fender jazz and presto chango there was that jazz bass magic. Just sounds and plays killer!
I put everything together. Bought the body new and finished with Tried and True Oil. Top and back are finished beautifully, some finish runs down near the bottom strap button and on the bottom horn there is some blue from playing before the finish was fully cured. Some signs of wear. very smooth to the touch. I worked really hard on that.
Here is the original fretless bass. You can see the finish flaws.

Neck is in excellent shape. Tight neck pocket and plays with very low action.
Bass plays and sound great. I'll try to get a sound sample this weekend.
