I've had this bass for a while now and while I love the tone, looks, and overall playabilty, I still can't adjust to a slab body. I guess my belly is getting too big...
Obviously this is not actually a Fender. If I remember right the body is Warmoth and the neck is AllParts. It's clearly relic'ed and looks awesome. The neck has been done really nice and feels and smells like an old vintage bass.
When I first got the bass, there was quite a bit of neck dive. I moved the strap pin back a couple inches, installed strap locks (included) and bought and expensive thick strap (also included). This pretty much took care of it for me. The bass is about 9lbs. I'll verify that later.
I also just noticed that the nut has popped out! It isn't damaged or anything, just popped out. I adjusted the price by $50 because of this.
For trades, interested in lightweight amps, and some pedals. No octave or chorus, but would consider anything else.
Ok, here's the pics. Price includes shipping in dual cardboard boxes, but no case or gig bag to anywhere in the lower 48. Please send all questions and offers via PM. $540!

That's a good thought and something I may consider, but there is something else I'm looking to raise funds for, so we will see how that goes.

Not sure I even want to sell at this price, but I could still but my wife something nice for this. Act quick!

OP, it is indeed a nice bass...but like you, Im not a fan of slab.

Have you thought of keeping it, taking it to a luthier, and maybe have him modernize the shape a tad?

Scale?
Pickup?
Can those stickers come off?
It looks like the nut is hanging over the edge of the neck, is it just floating right now?
I like to look of it , thanks!

34" scale, I don't know the model of pickup - probably Fender or Seymour Duncan, I would imagine the stickers would come off pretty easily. The nut is indeed just floating. It is not broken, just needs to be glued back in

Nice and unusual bass you got there, I like it, but I do have three slab body P's already and I am not sure that the wife will go for four and she knows basses very well, too well. Good luck sir,, and I really do like it!
