Peavey's answer to Modulus: the USA-made G-Bass, G being for graphite neck. This one is in excellent condition and has been professionally converted to fretless with very tasteful fret lines. While Peavey didn't make these in factory fretless, they totally should have: it sounds like a fretless Stingray, with plenty of MWAH but much lighter weight and way thinner neck. I've loved this bass for three years now, but it's time to admit the 35" scale doesn't work for me. I know it will for someone!

This guy never goes out of tune and never needs adjusting. Action like butter. Looking to trade for a 34" or shorter LINED fretless, OR an electric guitar, OR, failing that, to sell for 500USD + shipping. Sorry, no case with this one.

The only necks Modulus made for Peavey were for the Brian Bromberg basses. I verified this with Geoff Gould. The necks for the G bass and GV were made by Bell And Carlson which is a gun stock company. I had a G bass pass through my collection and it was a lovely bass in every way. It got nudged out of my collection when I got a like new in the case Millennium 4 J/J.
