This is a stunning, sexy, great sounding bass! I am not the original owner of the bass, but know that the previous owner Spoke with Brady Muckelroy about a it a few times. The client who had this bass built originally had a design goal of making it as lightweight as possible, and it succeeds in that area! As a result, the neck is a bit slimmer front-to-back than Brady's usual work. It plays really fast and smooth, but I just can't get over my lifetime of conditioning, I prefer a little more beef under my thumb. This bass is a Ferrari, and I'm more of a F150 with a little rust, but it will get you where your going!

I’m selling it because I don’t play enough to justify owning this bad boy, also going down to 1 or 2 basses max. I don’t have to sell it and would gladly keep it if I don’t get a full offer of $1,800.00 as I'm not really interested in anything else, nor am I interested in a trade. Spec'd out today this bass would cost more than $3K and take a year or so on his waiting list.

Weighs less than 6 lbs.( Really!) incredible and remarkable!
Spanish Cedar body w/ Paduk top
Set 3-piece neck, cherry and maple
Wenge fingerboard
Aguilar DCB pickups
Aguilar OBP-2 Preamp
Passive/active toggle
Passive tone control works in active mode as well

Minor player wear, some worming on the back from a possible belt I guess. No issues and no major dings or marks. Will ship in a gig bag and be packed carefully, Brady doesn’t supply a hard case that I know of, or didn’t with this one for sure.

Brady's work is spectacular! I have a 33" neck through, Spanish Cedar HMC with a crazy quilt maple top...your bass is gorgeous! Someone should snatch this up ASAP!!!

Can’t believe this is still available! What a fantastic deal on a world class bass. I promise that whoever grabs it will not be sorry!

Simply stated, Brady Muckelroy’s basses are as good as any instrument I’ve ever played. Seriously, if my home was on fire and I could only save one possession (and all the people and pets were safely out), I’d wind up standing in the street waiting for the fire trucks holding this 32” Muckelroy HMC5:

Thanks so much, your Muck is amazing too! I’m honestly looking at just keeping it after several tire kickers came around and left! I know that I will never buy another at my age, it’s a tough decision as I’m not playing that much anymore. Thanks again, you may have been the push I needed!

FWIW, of the many dozens of instruments I have sold, I only regret selling one, and it was a Muckelroy.

That’s great news... for both of us! You get to keep an incredible bass that you might have really regretted selling and would have a hard time replacing, and I get to stop fighting the urge to buy it! ;)

Im just not playing enough, the Muck needs a home! After much thought and consideration I’ve decided to offer this beautiful bass for sale again. Not another one like it for sale, it weighs less than 6LBs!

I appreciate that, it’s a tough decision but I’m not really playing that much. I have a custom Fender Mustang that covers everything I’ll ever do at this point and I love it! I also built a SS Jaguar as a project, unbelievable sounding bass as well, so I’m letting her go.
