Up for sale is my Japanese made Fender Mustang in olympic white finish. I love the sound and the neck on these, but I'm so used to playing big-bodied hollow and semi hollow basses, that the compact solid-body format feels a little cramped to me.
This one has seen a lot of love and has moderate cosmetic wear to show it; on either side of the neck pocket there is a slight finish crack (my white Telecaster from the same era has this too), some pitting on hardware, few minor dings, etc. Absolutely nothing that compromises structural integrity or functionality. Truss rod works like a charm. Bass is all original, except for the strings. Currently strung with Fender flats. Plays nice and comfy, sounds excellent. Gigbag included.
Not a heavy bass but also not super light. I don't have a scale, so I can't give an exact figure, but I'll bet it's lighter than your precision or jazz bass!
SALE PENDING $610 + approximate shipping to your location, which won't be crazy since these are relatively small basses. Paypal and CONUS deal preferred.
Happy to hear out trades for tube amps, Alembic preamps, or vintage Guilds.
