Details

I have a killer Wyn five string that checks all the boxes, but the unexpected passing of my mom and a major plumbing issue at my house have put some serious demands on the bank account. So much so, I could use some extra cash as plumbers and creditors do not take basses as payment. It is not worth it to fire-sale this bass, but if someone were wanting to trade some gear and cash, I might be open to it. Might be interested in a 4 string or possibly bergantino or baer cabs. Just run anything else by me.

On to the bass...This is one of the most comfortable 5 strings I have ever played. With the neck through, tone woods, electronics and brass nut it just sounds alive with attitude. My buddy Alphaman had this one commissioned and it is beautiful in every way. I have owned them all, and if you haven't tried a Wyn you owe it to yourself. If I didn't need a little cash this and a few other things would be staying. Check out the pics in the Wyn owers club and some of the sound sample from his website. I will add some of my own pictures later. Looking for $3800 plus shipping to your door in the US. Trade value is probably $4000.

I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom. Thoughts and prayers to you and yours...

Your bass may have the nicest overall composition of exhibition grade woods I’ve ever seen on one instrument! That thing is a piece of art. This is a rare instance when I am actually thankful that I can’t get really comfortable with 5-string spacing over 17.5mm, because otherwise I wouldn’t be able to resist this and, like you, I need to be selling, not buying!
