All Maple Jazz with Roasted Neck
  • Perfectly book-matched 2-piece maple Japanese Squier Jazz body
  • Roasted Maple Fender Jazz Neck—made in their Ensenada factory
    • 1.5” nut
    • Modern C Jazz shape
    • Medium profile (0.82” deep at 1st Fret and 0.87” deep at 12th Fret)
    • 9.5” fretboard radius
    • 20 medium jumbo frets.
  • EMG pickups with volume/volume/tone controls
  • Control and pickup cavities have been fully copper shielded (see pics in Post #2)
  • Easy-access battery compartment has been added
  • 9lbs 4oz

$425 shipped CONUS. (Bass will be packed with neck removed to reduce shipping costs or, for $475 it will be shipped with the neck on in a nice ProTec gig bag.)

I just noticed it’s your first day as a TB member. Welcome to Talk Bass! The bridge came from an old MIJ Fernandes Jazz bass, but I don't know the maker. The tuners came on the neck and are not branded, but they are nice solid tuners that feel firm (no play in them at all) and function very smoothly.

I had a Babicz on it when I first got it, but not for long. It was certainly cool, in the sense that it was really well designed/engineered, but it added a lot in weight and not a lot of benefit over either a bent plate bridge or a standard high mass bridge as far as tone or sustain.
