I've had this bass for a couple years. Great bass and very versatile, but not my cup of tea and has sat in it's bag for as long as I've owned it. It's in great shape and I don't see a mark on it. It is, however, a used bass so don't expect "showroom new".
It's currently strung with piccolo strings, as one time I thought that's what I wanted to do. I never changed the nut, so if u want traditionalbass strings on her, I'll change em out before shipping.
A very nice 9.6 lbs for those of u that fret about these things
$600 obo w/ bag shipped to your door east of the Mississippi, west add $25 (sorry, shipping ain't cheap these days
Below are specs I grabbed from another add:
From the comfortable short scale (which is a real plus for guitar players looking to cross over to bass guitar) and retro 60's-era styling and beautiful fit and finish, to the infinite tone options with it's 7-position switching plus tone knob, it's an incredible bass. Why it was produced in such a short run by Fender is a mystery to me!
The Rascal is not a "micro" or "youth" bass; it's a full-size short scale bass guitar. Its measurements are approximately:
Body Length: ~21"
Body Height: ~1 ¾"
Lower Bout Width: ~13 1/2"
Middle Bout Width: ~9 1/2"
Upper Bout Width: ~11 ¾"
Overall Length: 46 ½"
Weight: ~8.7pounds
If you're not familiar with the Rascal, below are specifications, as well as a some great videos/reviews:
