Sadowsky MV4 Special Edition - Trans Blue

LOWERED PRICE: $2000.00 Most players know that Sadowsky's Metro basses are the solid body 1st cousin to the NYC basses, just with solid tops and colors. Well, that is not the case with this guy. Every once in a while, Roger and crew do a small run of "Special Edition Metro MV4's" for various reasons. As I have been told, this particular bass, with the quilted maple top, was done for a German distributor of Metros. Somehow, this bass wound its way back to Japan (where it was born in 2013) and came up for sale at Ishibashi Music. A previous owner purchased the bass from Ishibashi a few years ago, and it is a fantastic playing bass. Everything you would expect out of a Sadowsky Metro, and a beautiful looking quilted maple top like his American brethren.
There are the typical swirl marks and some player wear, but nothing serious and very hard to catch in a photograph. The bass weighs in at a fantastic 8 lbs 9 oz. Since I purchased the bass a year ago, I have added a Hipshot/Sadowsky Drop D tuner. The original tuner will be included. It hasn't seen a lot of gigs with me this past year, but it's a great playing bass and it comes with a Sadowsky semi rigid case.
Any questions, just ask. I would entertain a partial trade plus cash on your end for a mint Aguilar TH700.
As a previous owner of this bass stated, if you've been looking for that special bass to pop up on TB, this might just be it...well, his advice is ...don't sleep on it. One like this doesn't come up for sale very often!!! It is true, this is one fantastic bass.
