This Millennium plays fantastic and sounds terrific. This is typical of these much coveted basses built in Meridian Mississippi. The PU's are active J/MM and the controls include master volume, blend, bass, sweepable mid control and treble. Everything works as it should and the bass is a joy to play.
This bass has been handled a lot and has dents on the front and back but the frets are in great shape so it does not have a lot of playing time on it. There are also a couple of scratches on the back. The bass includes a Peavey gig bag and it was shipped to me in that bag with insufficient padding under the bottom and the bass took a bit of a hit somewhere along the way and the body was cracked from the output jack area into the control cavity. I have repaired the crack with super glue so there is only a small line where the crack was. The bass is structurally sound and the repair is shown in the photos. The crack was on the back of the bass only and did not include the top.
In spite of the wear, the bass presents itself very well and looks great. It is only on close inspection that the flaws are seen. The maple neck is wonderful indeed and has an extremely smooth oil finish. This bass is a dream to play.
Peavey built these basses using the excellent Hipshot USA bridge and tuners. The bass is set up with nice low buzz free action.
Buyer pays actual shipping and PayPal is okay. The bass ships in the Peavey vinyl gig bag that is in fair condition. The vinyl is coming off one of the handles but other than that the bag is intact and provides the reasonable protection you expect from a bag.
