The ONLY trade I'm interested in:

-Mike Lull V4, 9.0 lbs or less

I picked up several G&L JBs recently and have found two keepers. This one was built in July 2019 and I bought it new in December. The body is swamp ash with a lovely Forest Green gloss finish that really shows off the grain. The fingerboard is Indian rosewood which is an upcharge these days. The neck is really comfortable and the bass sounds great. Weight is quite light for an ash body at 8.8 lbs. Comes in the black tolex factory case with the spec sheet and other documents. This only has a few hours of at-home playing time on it, it sounds and feels great but the other two I'm keeping are over a pound lighter.

Price is $1100 shipped

Hey Brad,

Beauty! And, as always, a string short! Miss my JB-5 with the empress body—should have kept it. Hope you are well.

Great to hear from you Joe! Life is very strange but we're doing fine, I hope you are doing well. You'll be surprised to hear I have a nice Lull V5 Jazz, I'm up to two 5 strings now!

Two five strings? Life is indeed very strange--just ask Kid Charlemagne.

I heard just recently that Mike had passed. Very sad. Glad you kept a few of his very fine instruments.

Hope you and yours are well.

Souring for G&L's and caught this. I actually owned this bass for about 27 days and returned it to Music Store Live.. I babied it. Just verified from my photo of the bass and spec sheet. I bought this one and a natural JB with maple fb. This green JB absolutely blew the natural out of the water. The natural was weak sounding, soft/thin, quiet. No balls.. Oddly enough someone is selling the exact same natural JB I owned from Music Store Live, on Reverb now. Should have kept the green machine. Funny to see these basses get around.
