For sale 1972 Gibson EB 0 Bass - case - excellent condition-reduced

Beautiful vintage, all original, 1972 Gibson EB0 bass. Short scale and is about 9 lbs.(bathroom scale method). Comes with a non original case in good condition with keys. Bass has no cracks, repairs or broken parts. All original electronics and hardware. A very nice 48 year old survivor with killer tone and rumble. Has fresh set of flatwounds and, I believe, was almost always wearing flatwounds as the frets are in great shape. Has a big full tone, but is still very articulate with no muddy tones. Condition is outstanding for 48 years old. Some light buckle rash (worming) on the back, but superficial only and not through the finish. Original bridge cover has very slight pitting on the surface, hard to photo but I tried to get a few pic's of it. A small number of surface indentations (pin head size) and a couple of very small dings; one on the bass side on the side edge and a couple on the back of the neck opposite the 9th/10th fret on the back. There is line in the clear coat (about 3 1/2 inches long) up where your forearm rests. It's not in the actual finish, looks like something scraped it, might even buff out, but not sure. Again, just clear coat only. I have to look hard to even see it and I definitely don't feel it. I tried to capture everything with photo's. Finish is still excellent and shiny as is the hardware.
