G&L L2000 tribute bass 2003. Good Condition, plays very well and is quite versatile. Not even sure what color this is called. Bass has been played a lot mainly for rehearsals

so it has the normal wear and tear from a 17 year old instrument

I should say as far as I know it’s original, I’m sure there are much better informed people on here that could a clearer answer

So I have been told, whether it’s original or not I’ll leave up to those who know better. All I can tell you is this is how I acquired this instrument I’ve never had a problem with it plays fine,make your own judgment

So I’ve been researching the old G&L tribute headstocks and it certainly does look like it’s been reshaped. Serial number seems to be in same position and shaved off. Can’t imagine why it was done though. Here’s a picture I found to compare the back of the headstock

"People are saying" that reshaped G & L headstocks are going up in value :)
If you like the pickups on these its a good price and not a bad weight.
They are also great for self defence.

That's a nice bass and great deal. Build quality is going to be way better than you'd find on a $300 bass and you get one of the most versatile basses around.
