This is a 2012 Carvin Sb5000. It has a custom seafoam nitrocellulose paint job (a 400.00 upgrade).Nitrocellulose paint was used in the 50s and 60s by Fender and naturally relics over time. This bass has been slightly reliced to start the process and will continue to relic over time. The neck is butter smooth. Controls are Volume/ Volume/ Passive tone/ Active Bass and Treble, This bass has been well cared for and comes with a hard case. These basses are like a Jazz bass on steroids. 18v preamp. Solid Ash body, Birdseye maple neck . A real beauty and killer slap tone. Message me for more info.

I see that now on my laptop! Earlier I think I had my brightness settings at different levels and I thought it was blue. Definitley seafoam green...one of my favorite colors, ESPECIALLY with tort. Looks awesome! GLWTS!

Bathroom scale says 10 pounds which surprised me, I never would have guessed that. It feels comfortable worn.

I weighed it again and this time the scale said 9.8 lbs. My bathroom scale may be a little off because it doesn't feel that heavy to me. It really is my best sounding bass, I get compliments on it when I take it out. It truly sounds great, I know I sound like a broken record but I just don't know how else to describe it. The only reason I'm selling is because I never got used to the string spacing , I have small hands and like to play fast runs . I find tight spacing works better for me, I just wish this bass was a little narrower. I've even thought about buying a smaller bridge so I could keep it.

Just wanted to point out that this has a solid one piece swamp ash body. Not 3 pieces put together. One solid slab of ash for that punchy sound.
