Here is your chance to get one of the rare and much sought after Peavey basses. The GV features a body shaped similar to a Millennium but the electronics are identical to the Peavey Cirrus. The two VFL humbuckers are hooked to a wonderful Cirrus 3 band preamp. The tone is very much like a Cirrus but seems to have some additional punch. That may be a result of the neck which is a graphite neck made by Bell and Carlson for Peavey. This neck does have the typical graphite neck weave but it is subtle. Some of the necks are solid black but I can see the weave in this one.
The bass is in fine condition but does have some dents on the back. As you can see from the photo of the back, they are difficult to see unless the light is just right. It is a very fine example of the GV and looks lovely. The neck is pristine with no damage or wear. The electronics work perfectly and there are no issues with the bass.
The bass has a new set of D'Adarrio XL's on it and is set up and plays beautifully. The bass weighs 9 pounds, 2 ounces and will ship with the original control knobs (as used on the Cirrus). The GV is 35" scale.
The bass ships in a gig bag and the price includes insured shipping to the lower 48 states. I can provide a generic hard case for $50 additional.
