Peavey Patriot Bass
Made in the USA, vintage 1987
This is a great looking and great playing vintage 1987 Peavey Patriot Bass. Classic Black finish with black pickguard and maple neck. The Patriot is a very aggressive growly beast that jumps out in the mix. It has the renowned Peavey Super Ferrite pickup. Its in good condition, well setup, and plays great. No issues, ready to rock!
The bass is in great csmetic condition, but has swirling in the paint and pickguard and some minor scratches as expected for a 1987. It looks great, but its been played.
The maple neck and headstock are beginning to have a vintage yellowing tint. This makes the bass look even better!
Full disclosure, this is the bass that had a neck with a sight ski-hump that I discussed in the Peavey USA club thread. I sent the neck out to warpednecks.com and they fixed it up and now it sets up and plays great. No issues!
The thumb rest you see in the pic is 3D printed from soft rubber (TPU) and is screwed into one pick guard screw and one pickup screw. No new holes were drilled. I can leave it or remove it - your preference.
