For sale MTD Grendel 5-string (Czech made) (Price Drop)

I’m selling my 20 yr old MTD Grendel 5-string - handmade in the Czech Republic to Michael Tobias Design’s Specs. I’m only selling it because I want a shorter scale neck. This bass is very clean and quiet. Nice punchy B string. It does have some minor dings and bumps through regular playing. Action is a little high and can be adjusted. The bolt-on neck is eastern hard rock maple with a two-octave wenge fingerboard and a “relieved” neck heel for a “neck-through” feel. Sunburst see-through lacquer finish. Pickups and electronics are custom-made by Bill Bartolini. The pickups are J style. These basses are superior to the Asia manufactured basses. I love this bass, but it needs a new home.
